“play-button” is a WordPress plug-in that lets you place one or more simple mp3 play buttons to your posts, pages or widget contents.

It’s as easy as placing the simple

[play-button:song.mp3]

mark-up anywhere in your text.

This plugin uses the free flash-based mp3 player by Fabricio Zuardi and the
XSPF Web Music Player team.

Download the ready-to-be-installed plugin here (directly from the official Wordpress plugin directory).

Installation

• Upload the plugin directory `play-button` to the wordpress plugin directory (usually `/wp-content/plugins/`)
• Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in your WordPress administration page

To add a mp3 play button to your post, page or widget contents simply write the following code:

[play-button:song.mp3]

Instead of

song.mp3

place the path relative to your wordpress home URL.

Example:

[play-button:wp-content/uploads/2009/06/example.mp3]
